Spice Cupboard
Primitive country decorating is a simpler style, a timeworn look that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. This is the look that Spice Cupboard brings to you. They offer old collectibles, new accessories that look old, some vintage and antique furniture and locally handmade and hand painted items, all with a primitive look. The owner, Mary Anne, has been selling folk art and primitives in this area for twenty years, including her own original painted pieces. Spice Cupboard carries lots of primitive dolls, baskets (old and new), battery candles, signs, shelves, lamps, candles and candle holders and much more. One of the best sellers is the Warm Glow hearthside candle. It is a large, deeply scented candle that has been hand dipped, made in the states, and is good with any décor. Spice Cupboard also celebrates every holiday by stocking lots of seasonal and holiday items. If you like the simplicity of primitive décor, come visit Spice Cupboard.
A new venture for Spice Cupboard is the opening of a kitchen shop, with lots of kitchen gadgets, tea bags and loose tea, tea pots and tea accessories, towels and even Mrs. Miller’s Homemade Noodles. They also carry local honey, made in Raleigh by "The Pleasant Bee". The kitchen wall is located just down the aisle from their booth.
